I mentioned itashi a while back, considering doing it to the FR-S, but now I probably won't do it to the 86.

Also, My Love Story was probably the cutest show I've ever watched. I'm surprised I liked it that much since I typically like the tragic stuff, but it was just too good.

Aldoah Zero is good as well, though certainly a lot more intense. I was wondering, are mecha anime just inherently good, or do I just have a thing for them? I can't recall ever being disappointed by a mecha anime.

It's a shame they kept making Death Note films. L: Change the World and the one after it were horrible and not needed. It felt like they were just milking it at that point.

Hm... kinda disappointed on this season's Gintama. Well, it was good, but not a fan of these ending that left you hanging. Ugh, gotta wait another yr or so for another season of Gintama

I guess it depends on the mecha anime, I can't stand the Gundam franchise, other than 08th MS Team. For more serious titles I do like A Farewell to Weapons (from Short Peace anthology), Aldnoah Zero, Appleseed movies, Break Blade, Knights of Sidona, Macross Plus, Macross Zero, Patlabor movies, Vexille, and Viper's Creed. For Comedy/less serious titles I like Dai-Guard, Diebuster, Full Metal Panic (new season coming!), Gunbuster, and Patlabor series. Burst Angel is somewhere in between the two categories. Other than those, not really into mecha...

I have started watching Iron Blooded Orphans about two weeks ago. Before that I binged G Gundam, it gets a lot of hate but I remember watching it on Toonami when I was younger. Knights of Sidonia is awesome actually got my wife to see it. Hope another season is in the future.

Martian Sucessor Nadesico I keep forgetting to see that one...one day.

Voices of a Distant Star I really do like, HUGE Makoto Shinkai fan.

Gurren Lagaan was eh... not really my thing, Gunbuster and Diebuster are in the same vein but way better to me.

The others, not interested in.

One I forgot that could be classified as mecha is TRAVA Fist Planet, the technical sequel to Redline even though it came out WAY before. Bought the hard to get and expensive DVD, so I DO like it... LOL. Might as well loosely throw in Redline while we are at it...as it is one of my favorite anime anything, EVER....

Not sure you actually remember Zeta Gundam, but Zeta Gundam robot was cool & all... but plot of Zeta and ending was pretty horrible. It's worse as Wing & Turn A Gundam. There were only few Gundam series actually had a good plot, art, song & ending.

But of course, I'm Macross fan & not Gundam fan, so that might be part of it.

Eva movies were good. Sadly not sure the director gonna actually make another one (forgot his name)... from the news I saw in Japanese show.

As for Gurren Lagaan, like I said I didn't like it, but A LOT of ppl liked that series. I felt that series wasn't that exciting or funny. only thing I liked was VA they used. There were a lot of good VA that I liked, so I enjoy listening... but that was pretty much it.
