I stopped by the shop today to drop off some wheels (no I don't get free wheels and tires) and I had a chance to look at the the car I will be missing so much over this next 10 days. The swift prototype springs are installed and the car is a little lower. I was told it was a lot stiffer. (Production spring are coming later). They were installing 5 point seatbelts, and I got to see how it looks with pipes. The tailpipe now exits on the right side (the muffler is diagonal), it looks pretty cool. I kinda wish I had a dual exhaust, but I know that the singe is better performance-wise. The guys said the car is LOUD. Like unable to meet decibel requirement at autox events LOUD. They said Paul was going to work on that after SEMA. They also said the power increase seems pretty good, and they are going to dyno it after the show.

Well sadly my wheels didnt make it in time for the weekend so I will only have the KW's installed, I think I will set the ride height so its not so uneven. I did accidentally drop the car so much in the rear I coouldnt get my jack from under the car so i raised it a bit more, I would say I have the rear set so theres about a finger width between the top of the tire and the fender opening, luckily the stock wheels are so narrow they tuck up nicely. The ride is quite firm but the KW's never make the ride harsh, I will likely do the Whiteline polyurethane bushing kits for the subframe to increase the feel from the rear end. I think the craziest thing is how the car no longer dives when braking hard, its just a progressive feeling...pretty much amazing!!!

My crickets are back after the new fuel pump install. I brought back to Big 2 to report it again. they are not going to replace it, Toyota is finding a solution to it.
