Hi everybody. I just got my Hot Lava FR-S 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. I'm in New Jersey for 2 more days and then I'll be moving to VA. Looking forward to see how we upgrade and enjoy our rides.

Hi, my name is Joe, I'm from Middletown, DE and I'm going to be buying an FR-S shortly. In the past, I've owned a 2002 Impreza 2.5RS, 1987 RX-7 TII, 1990 Miata, 2011 Mini Cooper S, and I currently have a 2000 Miata with an FMII turbo kit. The FR-S clearly won't be my first sports car, but hopefully it'll be the most fun!

Hello all, my name is Mark. I'll be going to pre-order my FR-S in a week or two in Ultramarine/MT. I've been reading around the forums for about a month or two before actually joining, hope to get the car before the end of the year and go to a couple meets.

I'm jealous of you Chef, I really wanted an Ultramarine but I didn't want to wait 2-3 months so I put a deposit down on a M/T Firestorm. No Ultramarines available in the southeast WTF???

Oh yea BTW I'm Nick from Tampa Bay. I put a deposit down on my FR-S on 8/18 and I am expecting a call any day now to come pick it up. I have been a car owner for over 18 years now and this will be the first car I've ever bought that is brand new I'm totally stoked!

I'm from Cincinnati, OH and I just got my asphalt FR-S on 8/27, the only manual transmission I could find in town...

Drove it into work today to try and show up my boss :p

And ended up stopping with JUST the right number of miles on it!

Hey all,

My name is Keith, 33 years old. I'm currently driving a 2006 Scion tC, and am planning on picking up a FR-S next year (2nd model year.) I had been following the FT-86 for a while, but didn't get interested to the point of wanting one until this year. It's going to be my DD, and with the amount I drive now for work alone (70 miles a day,) this car has become very appearling to me: unique, lightweight, great handling out of the box, good combo of performance and mpg

My tC is modded, not too heavily but it's got some stuff (intake/exhaust, full TRD suspension, lighter wheels, underdrive pulley, upgraded rotors & lines, aftermarket fogs, some cosmetic stuff.) Admittedly though, some of the parts are cheaper/lower quality than I would have liked. What can I say, I didn't have the money I would have liked to spend on it, and my wife wasn't too keen on me spending money on my hobbies. Well, both of those "problems" are fixed now, hah! So suffice to say, I have some good plans for my future FR-S...

I'm a car enthusiast that likes a wide variety of vehicles: everything from old school muscle, to electric vehicles. I get the car enthusiast part of me from my dad, he's mostly a chevy guy but he appreciates imports as well (he's gone to import shows with me, and I go to classic shows with him.) He has a '71 Chevelle that is an absolute beast, he helped me install the mods on my tC, and we are both looking forwards to modding the FR-S. Later on I'd like to get a classic of my own, probably a Nova or Camaro. Then I'll have one car to go fast in the curves with, and another to go fast in a straight line with

Good to be here. I look forwards to posting instead of all the lurking I've been doing.
