I don't use it on the street. Just at the track. Cheaper than filling up with 100 octane to boot.
WMI = Too much hassle.

Yup MMT. Gets you to 95/96 R+M/2 from 91 based on independent tests. I read that Torco race gas is made using the same stuff blended w/ premium gas. I used to use the Methanol in Turbo 108 back when we had 92 in CA.

Actually 10 bucks if you use 16oz, not 32. Cheaper still if you go for a 5 gallon drum.
Use wisely. His application makes sense as he's likely using an Ecutek and can shift maps on the fly. Why not get the option for extra power if you can find the fuel? |

i know you can get it very cheap on Amazon.com
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Octane-Booster-Quarts-Torco-Accelerator/dp/B005S2BKDQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380717772&sr=8-1&keywords=torco"]Octane Booster Case of Quarts Torco Accelerator : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame] I normally use half bottle to a tank, which would give you +3 so for example 91 becomes 94. when we go for drags day, guys put bottle to tank gives +6 just confirm with your tuner what mix would be good. Just to put into perspective what it does. when I was on Visconti stage 2, Borla header, performance pipe i hit 169whp on 91oct. Adding Torco I went to 174whp A stock car no mods or tune put Torco in and went from base 157whp to 169whp |

I am glad you have seen the light. I think using some Torco for track days is a wise investment on a boosted application.

Interesting, I was assuming that Torco + E85 may not be the best idea (with no reasons to support that assumption.)
I did some googling and came across this post: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...read-this.html Quote:

Figured u guys might like this. I had a smile on my face though. Got my supercharger installed last night. Huge thanks to Moto-Mike for setting me up. Great guy to work with! Currently running the 70mm pulley on 93. I'll get the serial number and some hp numbers soon. THE THROTTLE BODY LOOM EXTENSION WAS NOT PINNED PROPERLY! It didn't start and threw a code. I have a picture but I am on my phone. I'll update later. |

has there been any consensus on the whether any particular header is better suited for innovate powered BRZs? I'd prefer equal length unless there is sufficient evidence that the UEL will perform better.
I am currently considering the P&L and the Nameless (Should it ever materialize). Also considering FA20Club's but wouldn't want to order that unless it was in stock. The Borla EL is also an option, but i haven't heard too many reviews about them yet. |

People have shown gains with Vortech + Borla UEL / FA20club / HKS EL ... So I would start there. Besides myself, I don't think anyone has done a before and after dyno with innovate + headers. I will have another comparo soon when my Revworks UEL gets here next week.

Sounds good. I assume you'll dyno the revworks without any tuning tweaks like the Borla EL was done?
