I took a hour long drive on some nice twisty roads down to the local circuit track at Calibogie Motorsport Park.

In preparation for my first track day session in the coming months. There was no shortage of 86s representing at the events. By far the strongest showing of cars the entire weekend.

Finding another twin wasn't difficult

Went boosted again. I accidently spliced the t valve for the bypass valve in the wrong location but ended up fixing it later that day

Put on Sticky tires in preparation for a good AutoX season this summer.

RE71Rs, 215/45/17

Car loves it. Half bald winters and full bald primacies before that had me completely oblivious to what actual grip feels like.

Off-ramps and On-ramps are now way too much fun and I now realize I had exactly zero chance at autocross before.. If you are racing anyone that has these tires and you don't... don't expect to win.. at least stock frs vs stock frs (If you do and you win.. then you are a direct descendant of Ayrton Senna and have been blessed with the touch)

One funny thing tho: I was told by few to not get these tires because they were "too good" and would hide my mistakes. I absolutely disagree. Unless you have zero idea of what's going on with your car in the first place these tires will make your mistakes even more noticed.

Bad shifts become extremely hard on the clutch for example. There is no leeway of wheelspin on launches and your steering inputs need to be perfect or you loose precious momentum. I don't know if it's the combination of great balance and super stick but the car feels perfectly at home on these and quite frankly on another planet of performance. Highly recommended rubber.

Next stop: Brake pads before hitting up cayuga drift day to completely kill the 2 old sets of tires.

*Shout out Dave's Garage in Oakville who put them on for me. Always amazing service.

On the way: Perrin overflow tank; Cusco ramps; Jegs transmission hose

Yes, I have a fresh set of lug nuts to put on after I install the new parts. They are open ended, so I can take my spacers off if I want.

Can you do me a major huge favor and weight the stock dual fan shroud setup? Mishimoto claims its lighter at 7.5lbs I just need to know how much lighter is it than stock
