Oh, I know. And while I dream of them all being on the edge for weeks, I know that won't happen either - certainly it won't protect our health care system. But even mediocre immune system improvements via "natural" immunity is better than people running around with no exposure.
At this point no amount of data will help. We're well entrenched, and either confirmation bias, motivated reasoning, or both are making it impossible for people who don't really care about anyone other than themselves - not to mention even that is failing here - the best possible scenario is being ignored due to what?
None of it makes sense.

wow, seven doctors who attended that mask-free summit in Florida got covid immediately after? lol

bonus lmao:

“I have been on ivermectin for 16 months, my wife and I,” Dr Bruce Boros told the audience at the event held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, adding: “I have never felt healthier in my life.”

The 71-year-old cardiologist and staunch anti-vaccine advocate contracted Covid-19 two days later, according to the head event organizer, Dr John Littell.

[...]

sources close to Boros said he was gravely ill at his Key West home.

However Boros is faring, there remains the question of why he became seriously ill in the first place if ivermectin is the wonder drug the anti-vaccine crowd claims it is, rather than primarily a treatment for parasites and head lice in humans, as well as a horse dewormer. He had been taking the drug since the summer of last year for what he described as a personal research project.

7 out of 800 is a small percentage. If you're vaxxed, enjoy your safety and shut up. If you're not , shut up.

You realize the irony of that statement right? The anti-vax whine about the vaccine killing people or giving horrible side effects. Yet that's such a ridiculously small percentage.

As a software engineer you learn a lot about how edge cases can really screw things up. Just because the error margin is incredibly small doesn't mean it'll never have a more significant impact at scale.

I dont care about anti vaxxers. I made my choice to get the shots. It doesn't give me the right to preach to those who haven't.

But you absolutely do with your posts linking various articles.

[Lantanafrs2]

No, I just link articles that may be relevant to the discussion.

Yeah and that's exactly your way of preaching something. You may not view it that way, but that's how it is. For you to claim you don't preach anything, you would have to refrain from any opinion. And posting a link is a form of opinion or discussion.

So you're a mind reader. Good for you

Nah. Just a big man. Remember, that's what you called me for admitting my mistake.
