The group, as I said previously, a decent turnout!
Gonna try to make to the next one, Justin, and cruise in with the group. Nice shots! Thanks.

it's actually asphalt, haha. my friend mentioned this to me earlier today, that the black housing of the lights make the car look darker (black) overall. my black perrin catback probably adds to the illusion as well.

I always maintain that the dark grey/asphault looks black until you put it next to a black/raven. Car looks great regardless!

We met at 8 and got there around 845 and we had to park in the garage (the meet didn't officially begin until 10). We all agreed that next time we were going to leave earlier. I'm going to inquire about how to possibly reserve space as that seemed to be a possibility (they asked if we had called prior).

So is Jerry's in Pflugerville going to be the best place to get these coilovers installed? Or do you all have other recommendations?

FRS_Matt, did Jerry do your coilovers or did you install yourself?

suspension work on this car is very do-able. if i could do my spring install again it would probably take 2-3 hours tops. replacing the entire strut/spring with coilovers would probably be faster, because it took me a little bit longer to re-align the lowering springs to the proper orientation.

Did it myself. 2 jackstands and a jack, open ended ratchets, and spring compressors from Auto Zone for $30. Hardest part is the top nuts on the top hats if you are re-using the stock tops. It took me a while my first time through, but when I install my V3's, I intend on finishing in about 4 hours or so.

Turkish, massive thanks for letting me know about it in the SA thread. I am soo glad I went & I'm definitely going to do my best to make another one in Austin! Extreme 86, it was easily the best C&C I have ever been to, you gotta go!

Yeah I was wondering about that. According to the pictures and their webpage it seems they mixed it up a bit this time compared to January. Now only 4x4 in the gravel lot and a special group reservation time etc. ATX86 is a "group". Thanks for looking into this Turkish! http://austin.carsandcoffee.info/

Hey everyone, I'm selling a set of brand new, unopened Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Asking $200 local pick up.
