The first thing I did was take the shitty light weight pully's off. I don't want to mention any names though.

I learned another lesson today...Moving on. I washed off an inch of dust and took the newly rear seat deleted fr-s for a run. It's not nearly as loud as I thought it would be. The tin can thing is somewhat appealing. So, I removed the front seats and took the carpet out. There's some other areas I'd like to get to as well. Insulation and whatnot, bumper beams, battery, etc. In good time. It was a good day in the garage. It felt good to turn wrenches again!

I have some parts coming in the next bit so will be doing some minor installs soon.

Worked on a parcel shelf/storage compartment for where my rear seats used to be. Not done yet, but getting there.

Well we both did things to one another.

I washed it, detailed the interior a bit, and I was cleaning the windows in the back, after which I must have bent my spine awkwardly coming out. I came home and 30 minutes later both of my shoulders and spine were sore, really unbearable pain, couldn't lie down or sit, so I was pacing around in pain! Finally it subsided 3 hours later, probably thanks to the drugs. Almost sounds like a herniated disc. Been weightlifting for 10-12 years and the thing that does me in is windexing the back window. Sigh

At least the car looks great.

It's almost certainly just an aggravated muscle. Herniated discs are incredibly rare. According to my chiropractor that is

The muscles around the vertebra aren't sore at all. But when the vertebra is pushed - oh boy. Plus the fact that I had bilateral shoulder pain even though I hadn't worked out my shoulders in a couple of weeks, tells me it's a neurological booboo. Not a slipped disc for sure. I'd be a lot worse off. But something definitely got pinched.

........ first off ....... you should have done at least six repetitions of this exercise (see below) before you started.

If you cannot do that, you have no business being back there!

I find granddaughters are good for this chore (or neighbor girls, if you don't have one handy) ...... you can supervise from looking in the back window from the outside ....... just don't lean on the car ..... you will dent it.

Now, that you have messed yourself up, that's what those good Canadian meds are for (the aspirin is just a carrier).

Next, mix up a large batch of your favorite alcoholic beverage and drink it down till it's gone. While doing that, alternate a heating pad and cold compresses, applied to the area.

Take tomorrow off and just lay around ...... take a long nap.

Your welcome.

At least having a back seat there saves you money on car insurance so you have a bit to spare for a chiropractor or whoever you have to see for this.
