That's missing a lot of components though.... that's basically a short block with heads already installed

Let's assume all needed components are also acquired.

Personally if I was to drop an american engine into a 240 it would be an LSx, otherwise I would rather go with an RB26, or drop in a strocked 280z engine with a turbo (Devil Z style)

Devil Z would be cool, but I think a worked/stroked/bored carbureted N/A L6 is coolest.

Oh?

You have a lease signed for your new apartment, the one with the driveway to park your second car in?

Isn't that the "extra component" your mom (rightly) insists you acquire as well? After all, when you wrote this:

I'm surprised she doesn't realize I literally couldn't afford the project, like at all, right now. It's not even an argument we should be having.

You didn't imagine she was suggesting that you add on an additional garage and driveway space to THEIR home, did you? So, where exactly is that "extra space" to come from? I think it accompanies your new apartment.

So… when are you leaving?

Or, maybe I don't understand.

I6 H6, 120* V6 and even firing 60* V6 have the same exhaust sound...they're all even firing 6 cylinders.

Just found that I will be driving my sister's Camry to school while my FRS is in the shop. Nothing wrong with driving the Camry at all, except that it is covered with zebra seat covers and has a cheerleading sticker on the back window..
