Did an oil change using OEM oil and filter.
Also installed a trunk mat. Couldn't find one that I really liked until I stumbled upon this one in the Canada forums Part # is PU550-18151-01 Link to it as well: https://toyotacustoms.com/collection...pu550-18151-01 |

Love the trunk mat.
I'm always getting dirt and grass in my carpet trunk. Why did you not like the other mats? |

Thanks! I had the same issue of getting dirt and other debris. I got tired of vacuuming it so often. I like the design of this one more than most because it also covers the back of the rear seats. When you fold down the rear seats, the liner goes along with it; which is held on with velcro.

Somebody has to buy them Yes, the link I provided is from a Toyota dealer in NorthWest Edmonton, Alberta. It is a "genuine Toyota part". You could ask a local dealer to order it for you but not entirely sure if they can. They shipped it with no problems; took about 4 business days. They required a signature, so I had them hold it at a FedEx store rather than race against the delivery dude to later find out that they "just missed me". It's also in CAD, so it is a little cheaper in USD. |

Ugraded the key fob.
If you're familiar with the switchblade DIY this is basically the same deal... You have to rip apart the OEM key. Then I also killed the transponder so I had to sacrifice my valet key too. All good tho, I got r done and am happy with the result. |

Stupid tax on me. The transponder was glued in and I was trying to heat and extract with needle nose pliars but I man-hands'd it and chipped off a tiny bit of the transponder's outer caseing. I guess it was enough to make the Toyota gods mad at me. |
