Did you do the NF last night? I got on and did the Weekly with my Primary character and then started the NF solo, not to really complete it but mostly to work on my Pocket Infinity bounty. One of my friend's joined me and helped me finish the bounty but it still took about 45 minutes and then he bounced so I didn't finish the NF.

At least I have PI now, not too impressed with it yet. The range seems horrible but I haven't unlocked any perks/damage upgrades yet.

Lol I wasn't talking PVP, but yes that happens. Same with Nova Bomb too.

I didn't even get online last night, so no didn't get anything done. I should be online tonight so I'll try for at least the NF.

PI needs the PI perk otherwise it's not really any different from any other average fusion rifle. Once you get that it's still pretty situational but it packs a huge punch.

I still think the hardest part of that strike is the "deactivate 3 mesh layers" at the beginning. Certainly, hiding over to the left in that tunnel area that leads down into the Hive is a great spot, but with lightswitch being active it's not worth the aggrevation to me to try and solo the NF. Nothing worse than getting to the end and then getting one-hit meleed into orbit.

With lightswitch, the buff to shotties is worthless.

What is even worse, Lightswitch doesn't even work both ways. Does not make any sense. Burns work for you and the MOBs, but lightswitch doesn't work for you?

Titan is set for max armor and other armor/shield buff perks, that bastard can take a lot of damage.

I think they did a really good job making each class and sub class viable and unique without making them feel completely alien, they're familiar but still very different. When I first started it was like wtf they're all pretty much the same... But that couldn't be any farther from the truth.

I agree as long as you take the time to constantly tweak your sub-class for the mission you are running. I always forget to do that. Last night, running the NF the guy who was helping me was like, what do you have your Defender set to after I complained that my armor wasn't doing shit. That was a "duh" moment for sure after I went in and changed my Codex and other stuff around. This game does have a lot of thinking and strategy in it, as long as you're willing to put forth the effort.

My first nightfall in 2 weeks and all 3 of us get shafted, driver gets 10 coins, whatsup gets 11 energy and I get a Crusader scout rifle with useless perks that gets insta-sharded.

Haha, yeah Destiny's RNG can be cruel for sure. I will say this though, I haven't played much the last couple of weeks but I've already gotten several purple engrams to drop while doing bounties. That's about as many as i got to drop in previous 5 months on non-stop gameplay so not sure what's going on there. Of course, 2 of the 3 were useless such as a piece of armor I didn't need and The Devil You Don't which is horrible and I already dismantled it once before. However, I did get Up for Anything autorifle which has great stability, almost as good as Suros so I was happy with that. Of course, autorifles have been pretty much nerfed into oblivion by Bungie so maybe I really shouldn't get too excited about it.
