Considering taking some of my interior panels, and splatter painting them. I have the JDM(?) or maybe the AUDM ones, I can't remember anymore. The black ones. Would just need to get the black dash piece. Unfortunately, I can't be bothered to take them out of the car, get an area prepped for the paint, do the paint, then reinstall everything. Maybe it'll be a job for the winter time...

Nah, it just means I don't drive hard enough!
![]() The shoulders are kinda chunked though. That was before I was taught to check my tire pressure before every autox run... |

TBH stock tires are pretty fun tires to use for autox imo. You can drift or grip with those tires and you learn to understand the characteristics of this car.

Agreed. The stockers are perfect for getting to know it. They are fun, and predictable. Lightly used sets are always coming up for sale.

MHM! Really helped for both auto-x sessions and that 1 track day I did. If you can faintly hear the squeal, they have plenty of grip left but its like a warning. Then they progressively get louder and I pretty much know when the rear end is going to break loose now. So much fun! I would be more than happy to keep them on and buy a new set. But I want more grip! Well, just a little more, nothing too extreme like RE-71's. ![]() |

Careful there, Sparky. When shit goes sideways, it'll do it way more and way faster. I'd rather have a mosquito bite than a hornet sting.
