I did a ton of searching before deciding on the Michelin PSS, the main factor was the wear rating compared to the other tires. It was the better bang for the $$ in the long-run.

I will say I went too big with 245s for your autocross purposes so you should factor that in as well. Some really sticky 215 or 225s would improve your autocross runs substantially I would assume.

While I am on my stock wheels I will likely be running on 225/24. I am trying to decide between 17x8 and 17x9 for when I can afford wheels.

It has been awhile since I updated my thread. I have a couple weeks old video from my last autocross still sitting on my go pro because I have been too lazy to edit it and upload it to youtube. The car handled significantly better than before. I think I will be playing with tire air pressure to further increase oversteer during autocross. Also, I plan in July or August to tint my fog lights, DRL, and tail lights, bake and paint my head lights and if I can scrounge up the extra dough get some Hella Supertones installed while the front cover is off.

Speaking of autocross video, couldn't sleep last night so I edited and uploaded the video.

The last heat looked really good. But is it just me or did your second heat (3/5) go faster than your third heat (4/5)?

Regardless, great stuff!

Yes, but I popped a cone on the 3rd run (I forgot to record the second run).

More autocross goodness coming soon (being uploaded to Youtube at this very moment). I got a little too aggressive on my 3rd run (2nd in the video because I forgot to hit the record button on the first run).

And here it is! The +1 on my last run really neutered my ranking, but c'eis la vie! I had fun and I was grinning ear to ear, especially in the spin. :P Also I forgot to record the first heat, as bad as that one was (not my worst though).

I just ordered Hella Supertones, Lamin-X smoke fog light covers, and the Whiteline positive shift kit. I hope to have that all pretty soon so I can get to cracking' on tinting the fog lights as well as tinting the DRLs and baking the headlights while I have the front cover off. I am aiming for late July or somewhere in August to get this done.

I plan on mounting them behind the grill, as symmetric as possible. I will be painting the red covers blue to match the exterior.

That's what I did with mine, except painted them white of course.

Received my package today, looks like the Whiteline positive shift kit is now black instead of yellow. I guess it doesn't really matter since you would only see it when its on a lift anyway.
