Last night in the bottom of the fifth my team needed one run to mercy the team we were playing. Slow pitch softball for county workers a "for fun" co-ed league. There was a rather large girl playing right field. I have to confess I just wanted to go home, so I hit it over her head for a walk off. Felt like an asshole for doing it, but its my first career hr. Anyyyyways, after the game I walked to my car, and started to leave, when guys on the other team started asking me all the usual and telling me how much they loved my car. One guy just kept repeating how much he loved the color (DGM).

TL;DR: I hit a walkoff hr over a big girl, then the other team complimented me on my car.

I think a lot of older people likes this cars just as much!

Took my car to Carspa for complete wash (exterior & interior) an old woman (late 50's) saw my car and commented: "Is that the Scion hmmm, FRB, no FRZ right?" I giggled and said it's the Scion FRS and there's the Subaru BRZ. Both identical cars. She asked how I liked the car, told her it's not very fast but drives really good on twisty roads.

This happened around 12 midnight yesterday. Oh yeah, was coming back from Bruno Mars's Dallas concert tour :P. Ran out of gas so we stopped by a QT, an old guy walked out and said this: "Is that the Scion FRS? That's a very nice car! What kind of engine?" I told him its got the 2.0L Subaru boxer engine. Not super fast but fun. The car was part Toyota and Subaru. He kept on saying that's one of the nicest car he sees and how he likes the car. Didn't feel like talking to him much so I just thanked him a few times and drove off!

The sad thing is my car is completely stock! lol. Time to invest in some aesthetic upgrades! Exhaust, rims/tires, lip kit, spoiler and drop!

Was at the drive-thru getting food and it's one of the double window systems, where you pay first then pull up to the second window for the food.
Cashier#1 got really quite when I rolled up, didn't say a word when handing me my change then scurried away.
I pull up the second window, to see the cashier#1 standing there next to cashier#2, both looking at my car

Cashier #1: "What kind of car is that?"
Me: "BRZ"
Cashier #2: "Yea... I'm gonna get me one of those when I get my raise"
Cashier #1: "Raise? To what? Owner of the company?"

God I love this car

My last car was a BMW 135i that I had lowered with wheels and tires, it looked wicked, and was super fast with over 400hp.

I get more looks and more "Cool Car!" comments from my BRZ than I ever got with my 135, which was also a fairly rare car in my area.

I can't get over the lack of power though. It's "mind bottling" that car companies just can't ever get anything 100% right.

I'll be fixing that soon hopefully with a turbo kit.

My friend came out of a bar one night and there were some not so smart girls around his BRZ saying, "take a picture of me wiff da Aston Martin"... what..

The day I bought my car I wasn't a block from the dealer and a car with 3 girls in it where asking me what it was, etc. I get looks, questions and complements on a regular basis I love it.

I've had people on the streets, co-workers, and friends compliment my car, but today I had my first on-the-road sweet ride bro encounter!

I was at a stop light next to an middle-age gentleman in a silver Camaro, I noticed him looking over through the corner of my eye. I turn around and he gestures to roll down my window. He ask what kind of car it is, because he's never seen one before. Tell him it's a Subaru BRZ, he's impressed by it and tell me it looks amazing! We talk for 10 seconds, my left turn light turns green, and I see him staring as I go on my way.

Great way to start the day

Parked at a valet parking on Santa Barbara's pier. Some lady driving a BMW roadster exclaimed, "WOWWWW NOT BAD FOR A SUBARU, UMPH."

Don't know what the umph was for, but at least I know this car doesn't only just make me orgasm every time I see it.
