Wow there's a lot more previous VW owners than I thought there'd be.
I had a 08 rabbit. Slammed, and stanced out. Over the whole stance/Hellaflush crap now. 90k on it. Started spending more money on fixing it more than anything Was looking at s2000s but test drove the frs and got it the next week. Lol. Parted out and sold the VW a month after. Here's a pic

Another person moving from a VW, in my case, a '10 Golf TDi. Loved the car, but with the 40K service coming (first big one), and timing belt needing replacement in next couple of years, and worry about electrical problems, decided to bail. But of course, it had a lot to do with the positive press, and the test drive of the FR-S. Great car!

Hey guys... I'll still be driving the FJ around, but it's great to be back in a small car.
My favorite car to date was my modified MR2 Spyder. Trial bodykit, 2zz swap, Apexi PFC, port and polished head, valves and valve springs.... Made good power up high so the redline was set around 9.2k RPMs. My friend did a great job of building it. I recall a miss shift which left me over 10k RPMs, and I survived with no damage. I think they FR-S is a great platform for me to build on. Really excited. ![]() The other side of the FJ is in need of bodywork. I was the webmaster for an offroad park and only lived 7 miles away. It's gone to a few parks around the nation (3 in Texas, 1 in North Carolina, 1 in Florida, 2 in Michigan) ![]() I was younger back then and traveling a lot in the military. Lost pictures along the way. Final version had a hardtop, SSR Competitions, TEIN coilovers, TTE sways, and more. |

You should change the title to "brand of car", since that's what you're really asking.
I'm actually curious now to see the actual type of car, like how many people came from another FR sports car, AWD rally car, muscle car, etc. That way I can know how much insurance rates are likely to go up by the percentage of people coming from FF.

The last in a long line of old Hondas.
Spend 3 weeks in Cali before I found this one. One owner, 250,000 miles on it. Only got Honda factory service done. Koni Yellows/Eibachs Stock motor/trans New out of the box HX wheels (those were a chore to find) EDM Cluster Fastline shifter Mugen pedals I miss her tremendously, but then I go for a ride in my BRZ and I'm cheered right up.

I'm coming out of a 07 Honda Civic Si, that was my responsible 4 door car. One of the main reasons I really like the BRZ/FR-S is the fact that it reminds me so much of the MR2. I've owned 3 different MR2's and I was always happy with them. Glad that Toyota is finally, building something sporty again.
