Ok - I was way too impatient
Started works today on all the panels.First - removing god damn fugly stock head unit. As I had JVC single din CD/MP3 player just laying on shelf with all the Handsfree / USB / Wireless functions - I thought why not to put it in! I cut single din opening from Subaru impreza center plastic that I had laying around - and welded both plastics together (FRS one and impreza). Used my soldering gun to weld both plastics + some hot glue to support everything from the back. Be sure to check if both plastics are the same origin (PP or ABS) other way they will not hold together! ![]() Later on - sanded everything smooth - added some bondo - and of it ready to get covered in CF Will make small storage compartment on the lower opening.![]() Also - had one crazy idea to pop up in my head As the lower opening is JUST the same size as clock / hazard / pass seat airbag signal - maybe I will relocate it to the stereo bezel - and make a round analog clock on HVAC panel instead of hazard button, like on some English supercars? ![]() And started covering one of my spare sets in new CF Got lots of done - tomorrow I should finish up with resin works - and clearcoat everything in the evening ![]() ![]() Heres how new CF looks after few coats of resin on It looks DAMN sexy - I tell you Next time im bringing my DSLR to garage and will take proper photos ![]() ![]() ![]() Still lots of sanding left - and atleast 2 coats of resin. Its a damn hard thing to work with this CF - cuz you CANT oversand and touch it with sand paper - cuz if you do - red string is ruined - and its instantly visible on the normal CF if you do oversand - after covering another layer of resin - it will cover the oversanded place easily...

Bought it from them -its not cheap, and its not as super flexible as normal 2x2 200g CF - so you have to be patient But its super nice - it looks in real life just the same way as it looks in the picture on the site!its caller Reflection Carbon: http://compositeenvisions.com/raw-fa...bon-fiber-145/ |

@doggy, I voted for your S30Z in the 2012 Speedhunters Awards for "Car of the Year". Congrats on making the running! I was conflicted with too many good choices, and I figured yours was a longshot but I love the S30Z! I invite everyone else to vote for his car, too!
