Is there an intake with no reported bogging on stock tune cars?

I would pay more attention to the thread discussions than the poll as I suspect some of those who are "stock" without problems inadvertently choose the "yes - I'm all stock"...including me. Can't find a way to change my answer.

I must say, I love your attitude about this whole thing. Definitely a model for vendors!

But, that's wrong. There are only 6 people with bogging on an entire stock setup (intake + tune). 8 with an aftermarket intake and aftermarket tune. And 4 with aftermarket intake and stock tune. So that's 12 to 6.

Also, I was under the impression that this poll was for all intakes, not just AIRAIDs?

Yea can we get a mod to make that a bit more self explanatory. I had to read it a couple times to understand the intent.

Refund should be a non issue. if its anything else report back here. youre not happy, thats enough to warrant a refund on a new tomarket item.
I think 1 out of 29 guys reporting or noticing is a high enough failure rate btw.

I tested out a couple of new tunes from John today, the latest one has shown promising results. I'll let John speak to it further, but I think this problem is about to be taken care of shortly.

Yes, violent bogging at low RPM/high load situations. I was getting it even at a sensible RPM/load (like starting up a steep hill, or bumper to bumper) intermittently, but I couldn't always reproduce it other than the very low RPM/high load, which admittedly was not a situation I considered to be normal driving, so it didn't bother me too badly.

With the latest flash I tested, even that scenario is fixed.

Awesome! I look forward to it. Car is in the shop getting the audio done right now. John just sent me the tune. Will report back in a couple days with test results.

Yes I have the Visconti Pump Gas tune. I've tried it both with and with out the tune and still see the problem.

The tune I just got from John seems to have resolved my bogging issues with the injen intake.

Will test more later tonight.

Just curious, of those experiencing the bogging issue how many have automatics?

Mine is an automatic and the bogging is very pronounced. AT and MT behave very different especially on first gear.
