Ehhhhh……I’ve seen enough of Matt’s vids that I don’t think it’s a stretch to say he’s being a little irresponsible at times. I do love his reviews though because they really do maximize the “street” aspect of the cars he’s reviewing, partly because he’s driving harder on public roads than I ever would.

Right thats why I get mildly annoyed with his reviews - he could do so much more if he was at a track instead.

Any news on when Smoking tire will release the video? Also, from what I recall, Savagegeese should’ve the brz this week.
Any info from the Canadians?

Savage Geese has been working on a big Porsche project so I’m sure the BRZ isn’t a huge priority at the moment.

And it made great power numbers on the dyno. Car looks great. I'm excited and impatient.

The dyno thing is really surprising. Subaru and/or toyota are not really known to underrate their cars HP and torque numbers.

Oh it's easy to do it. You put piss fuel on the '19 car and you dyno the old and new car on a high reading dyno. Then you discredit the old car saying it has a repurposed economy car engine and you praise the new one - which by chance is based on same engine technology - as the next big thing. Finally, you came to the conclusion that the new engine is even underrated in power figures by the factory.

No one said that. The new one is better with a higher torque engine. I am just saying that it is non-sense to present a 47whp difference (209 vs. 162) between the old and new engine and actually believing it!

I dunno. My butt dyno immediately thought "this is more than a 25hp... increase" so I tend to believe numbers we're seeing.

LOL, take the tin foil hat off dude. what does this guy gain by burring the old car?

I found a dyno Kings did on a S2k since I know those cars extremely well and an AP2.5 made 216 SAE smoothing 5, tuned with a header. That's actually low to spot on for those cars. That car should be making ~220 with those mods. This does not seem to be a high reading dyno.
