You can also adjust how it hangs by getting slightly longer polyurethane hangers, which may put a little space between the tips and the cutouts.

Trying to keep the rear JDM hangers that are installed before ordering more hangers...
Loosened up the two slip joint clamps and rotated the elbow(shown in red) that clears the diff to see if I could move the tips around at all. After the adjustment the right side tip went inward and maybe down a smidge; enough I readjusted both tips in/out. Going to try it like this and keep an eye on it.
