Also, I ran the car with the Strano bar at an autocross this past weekend. Hot shoe drivers in the car included Brian Peters, Ken Motonishi, James Yom and yours truly. All absolutely loved the handling, and I personally thought it was a great upgrade from stock. The extra front roll stiffness can really be felt, without adding understeer. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Timing is everything...

Ordered bar today, bar shipped today. Sounds like there is one more in stock.

If I'm good, how fast can the bar be changed out? I've got a test and tune in a few weeks and I'd love to do back to back runs with and without.

Probably an hour to change the bar if you have help and leave the underbody panels off. It's fiddly.

Yeah it can be done in an hour the first time. I think it took me about 30 minutes the last time I did it, I definitely plan on swapping between two bars at our first test and tune. I would drop the swaybar to chassis brackets and change the bar off the car and then put it all back on. It can be changed with those still bolted up but it's more of a PITA imho with having to snake the bar in and out and it's a bit cramped putting the front bracket bolt in there next to the steering rack.

Did the bar come with grease packets for the bushings? Im not sure what grease would work best.

Mine didn't come with any grease, but I generally just use Teflon tape instead which I did with the Strano bar.

That is how I did my bar, I even thought if someone parts out a wrecked car it would be cool to buy a pair of the brackets and have them ready on a second bar to make it even faster to swap at events.

Did my install last night.

Tip .... Turn the steering wheel to clear the steering linkage boot away from the bracket bolt on each side. This allowed me to get a nice bite with a socket wretch.

If I were to do this again I would not do it at night and I would drop the subframe down to remount the brackets instead as someone else mentioned. I had an issue on one side trying to get the bracket back on over the new bushing.

question for all you guys, would this sway be good in combination with a stock 2011 WRX rear sway bar? i plan on doing coilovers with 7k rates all around and 255 starspecs all around. do i NEED a rear bar, or will doing all of this and leaving the rear bar stock make the car neutral, and by adding the WRX rear bar it'll bring that stock like bias back but essentially make it stiffer/less roll? am i thinking about this the right way?
