This reminds me of some guy I'm seeing... He lives at home but has 0 savings. It blows my mind. Guess he has credit card debt, pays his folks rent - so that he feels like an adult. But I'm like - this house is paid for! Put that money towards utilities and save the rest for a car. He drives a 95 truck... er forget the brand..
What makes it similar is that he tries to give me financial advice...lmao
I swear, I'm coming to the conclusion I need to start judging the guys I'm about to date based on their car. I hate to say it but there seems to be an ongoing connection between driving a crappy car - and being a very broke loser.
-I know this sounds terrible, chances are I won't judge from the outside looking in anyway. But it's a good sign to be cautious.
There's nothing wrong with saving, it requires a lot of will power. But if you set goals for yourself it can be very rewarding.

Remember to always think Both short term And long term.
Also paying off ur loan faster actually lowers your credit score. But if u have a credit card or plan to get one and have successful parents to co-sign than it shouldn't be a problem
