haha I'm locked into the rate/price for 60 days, I just had the luck of getting the loan agent who has never done an auto loan before, only personal loans. So now I order parts until friday. and thank you, it feels good to officially be part of the family.

You do realize that my wife's job is financing? Just think what she could have done with that deposit.

In Las Vegas, I would speculate that she could have turned it over for at least a 10 fold increase in value ...... ......... plus a fruit plate ......

I just recently got an oil change from the stealership and they tried to charge me $60 for a cabin filter. I did need a new one,so they weren't trying to sell me something that I didn't need,but I said "no thanks",then went to my local Auto Zone and got one for $20. Took me all of 90 seconds to replace the old one,so I really don't understand the 3x upcharge.

its for all the time involved to pull other's out of dash to scare one into buying it, only to receive a 'no thank you'. they quoted mine at a similar price.

Mine tried that too except 50 bucks.

"The mechanic noticed that the cabin filter is dirty and should be changed"

My response;

"This is the first time I've dealt with you. Did he also notice there's 5,000km on the car! Now that I know you're dishonest I'll just let you do my obligatory oil changes"

It sucked, I was hoping for a descent relationship with them.

Kind of like that around here ....... when it snows ...... best just stay home, it usually melts off in a few hours.

It's the other people on the roads that scare me......

yeah, they quoted me $49.99. I looked at it and said "cool, I can probably watch a youtube video and do this myself."
