Drove around for about 70 miles and it seems to be getting better! I don't know if its me adjusting or the car.

Took my baby for its first official health check (Service), interesting state of affairs:

Service maintenance manual says oil/filter change every 7.5k miles
Sticker on windscreen says 5k miles.
Service technician says 5k miles service schedule with oil change every 10k miles.

There seems to be some confusion within Toyota as to how often the oil/filter should be changed. So I have decided change the oil every 5k. even if it is fully synthetic.

Whats even more interesting is they said they had checked and topped up all the fluids. I validated this statement. The only fluid that was topped up was my windscreen washer fluid. I happen to know that my coolant level was on minimum and needed a top up, still on minimum. In itself not a big issue but it does make me believe that no other fluids were checked.

I guess I had better check the fluids myself. (Which I do)

On the oil/filter change, never hurts to do it earlier (well except in the pocketbook), but at least while under warranty I wouldn't go longer than what is recommended in the Service Manual.

According to the maintenance schedule for my 2013 FR-S, it suggests to change the oil and filter every 7500 miles or 7.5 months, whichever comes first. However, under severe conditions, every 3750 miles or 3.75 months.

So, it's your call.

Personally, I have the oil and filter changed whenever I think "it's about time".....

Yep, checking and topping off fluids is a good DIY task.

ebay cheapo lip https://www.ebay.com/i/261916051629?chn=ps&dispItem=1 . good for protecting the lower portion of the front bumper and less than $100. I had a couple of those lips before, that were destroyed due to my ride height lol. I recently purchased the Greddy Gracer lip just haven't found time to put in on.

I traded my Berk Dual Muffler Delete for a Works Exhale ABM. I wanted a little quieter exhaust, but this may be TOO quiet! The jury's still out

If they would just put some REAL front bumpers on cars these days, we wouldn't have these problems .........
