I occasionally have no hands on the steering wheel because the left hand is enjoying the breeze while the right hand is shifting, LOL.

naw my Mother doesn't drive sports cars at all, and it's good that she doesn't she has issues with just driving a normal Civic well, she how ever seems to do very well in a Miata and Mini. And as for my father he had a surgery done on his left knee, so when he depresses the clutch he will feel lots of pain, it's not that he doesn't know it's just he can't without hurting himself. So out of respect I got something he could enjoy too. I don't really mind it's nice to just spend some time with my old man liking the same thing. Besides He owned a AE86 up till I was about middle school.
