Expansion happens in May?
I need to get updated versions of my exotics though (preferably new exotics also)

Some of the armor is decent but not really any better than the stuff we already had. Did I already say the new weapons were terrible?

I would wait since you'd have to upgrade your exotics again in a couple of months again. Also, if you wait until HoW expansion you won't have to unlock all the weapon abilities as they're changing the reset on exotics. |

My grimoire is now 2320. Took a pretty big jump by finding almost all the ghosts. Of course, not really sure grimoire counts for much other than having more cards that I never read. It was really fun looking for all of them though, it was a good break from the normal grind. You'll be surprised at how many of them you have been by a hundred times but they are in such a bizarre place you just walked right by them and never even knew it. There's a guy on YouTube that walks you through each planet, can't remember his name on there. It ends up being over an hour of video to watch, but it will actually take you 2-4 hours depending on how slow/fast you are able to go. I would start a video on one planet and then pause it every time he got to the next ghost, then I'd swap over to the game and go get that ghost. Then I'd park my Titan in a safe place (if needed) and flip back to the video to the next ghost. I took my time and I think it ended up taking me about 3-4 hours. I also didn't allow myself to get sidetracked with the exception of doing a couple public events. Also, some of the ghosts are in heavily defended areas so you'll find it easier to clear the area before trying to retrieve the ghost. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2q2NgswbgM"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2q2NgswbgM[/ame] Edit-Here's the guy who does the ghost walk throughs. Here's the guy I think does a good job on researching the grimoire and presenting you the storyline on YouTube. This one is on Thorn and Dredgen Yor. The stuff on Super Good Advice, The Last Word and Bad JuJu are pretty interesting too. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yu2T3ZYdQ4"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yu2T3ZYdQ4[/ame] This guy did a good job on describing the story behind Eris Morn. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1DuBp4ym1w"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1DuBp4ym1w[/ame] And if you want a laugh, this guy has a whole series called "Clueless Guardians" (NSFW). It's the best gun for doing the heavy ammo glitch

Why not leave the weapons as is Bungie and let gamers explore and have fun without making more restrictions? Leave the weapons as is and stop being so restrictive in how the game can be played. I'm just a casual gamer that plays maybe once a week or every two weeks. After completing the campaign mode, running the Crucible or just messing around on Patrols and trying to solo public events is where I like to spend my time. Love the pistol since it is an all range weapon, from close in to sniper range - and one or two shot drop with a head shot, much quicker at taking down enemies than with the weak automatic weapons.
I like the most impactful weapons with an adequate but not overly fast rate of fire... double-tap to place my shots precisely where they need to be. And the sniper rifles are my second favorite weapon to use... get the right one for you and it makes for a lifesaver that can turn situations around quickly. So the pistol is my personal offensive/defensive weapon and sniper rifle the weapon for protecting the other team members ( I like being overwatch to others and dueling with opposing snipers.) But I also like going crazy with the titan fast and close in as well - sometimes I just want to not bother with the weapons and have a melee fest... Finally made use of the third character slot with a Warlock (so I have one of each class now). I actually do like the close in melee capability of the Warlock so far (at least running the story at the lower rank levels so far), though I'm really use to the Titan's speed and death from above tactics... many players seem to mainly think in 2D and seem not to consider there's an airforce that likes raining death from above in Destiny (limited in effectiveness to certain maps of course)... Titans have a ton of airspace capability that can also be like a turbo boost in a forward direction at very low altitude to get where you need to go or get out of FAST...who needs a Sparrow?! You bring a Sparrow and I'll race ya for 100 foot dash! LOLI do like Destiny, but the Halo franchise is a little more enjoyable overall for me... because of my driver focused loadout and love of the Warthog and Mantis. Only sucky part of being the warthog driver is finding a competent gunner that won't get you killed. Because if you have to slowdown and make it easy for a near incompetent gunner you might as well just park it and walk away, not worth it. That's when I just grab and yank a turret mounted chaingun, with my chaingun specific loadout, and go have fun running and gunning... yeehaa! The chaingun is my primary/most used weapon in Halo 4... LOL You find a great gunner though, and man do you wipe the floor with the enemy... especially with the 'GausHog' or 'RocketHog' versions in Heavies. The 'GausHog' is my favorite to drive, 'RocketHog' favorite to gun - because taking out a Scorpion or Mantis in one salvo is a good thing. As a Mantis pilot you have full control of the weapons at least...

Admittedly I don't play a whole hell of a lot of crucible, but I never see anyone running a Suros. Or at least if they are, they're not killing me with it.

I still use The Last Word, once you get all the stability perks it's pretty dead on.

I have zero exotic weapons, just an exotic helmet for my Hunter... but i prefer using my Titan for just the standard crucible earned pistol and either Legendary shotty or crucible earned sniper rifle depending on map. As for Iron Banner, I'd rather stick with the equalized Crucible matches which are more skill based outcome... I'm not in a position to survive with regular armor and weapons in Iron Banner, which is more equipment based outcome.
Here's my roster: ![]() ![]() Just made and played only on Friday evening so far...
