If you're looking at V3s for auto-x, you really should check out our RCE Tarmac 2s. Based on KW Clubsport 2 ways, but custom valving and springs. Still built by KW and with a lifetime warranty. A bit more serious than KW V3.

I have the single adjustable, have not noticed much noise.

I have mine in hand-- still need to buy camber plates and rear mounts, but hopefully have them on in the next two weeks.

I had the 2 way non-remotes and they absolutely were clunking like crazy. I spent a lot of hours trying to trace the noise down, since I figured it couldn't possibly be the shocks. It was the shocks.

I had mine converted to remotes and it's absolute silence. This was in mid-2014, so maybe they've figured out and fixed whatever needed improving on non-remotes

Might be time to send them in.

Seems to me like it'd be easier to sell those and just re-buy doubles.

Nope. Just bought mine in June, and they clunk like crazy over slow, rough stuff.

Side note: The rear shock adjusters are very susceptible to being accidentally released into the compression adjustment by cargo (wheels, jack) in transit to events. As a result, I've had to rethink my packing strategy. Not sure if any of the noise can be attributed to driving on compression setting, since they suggest leaving them in rebound.

What control arms and toe arms is everyone running on their STX car?

I have the SPC lowers and using the OEM toe arms. Thinking of getting the SPC toe arms since they're threaded rod, not eccentric. I'd like to get rid of the eccentrics in the lower arm too...

Not sure you can add aftermarket toe arms.

I have Racer-X rear LCA and stock toe arms. No trouble getting 0 all around.

I didn't think that you could add the toe arms.

I have the rs*r lca's. -2 camber with a 1/16th toe in with no problem.

The SPC toe arms have the same bushing/tie rod type attachment points as factory, no sperichal bearings which I think was the thing that kicks you out of STX...

H. Camber kits (also known as camber compensators) may be installed. These kits consist of either adjustable length arms or arm mounts (in- cluding ball joints) that provide a lateral adjustment to the effective length of a control arm. Alignment outside the factory specifications is allowed. The following restrictions apply:
1. On double/unequal arm (e.g., wishbone, multi-link) suspensions, only the upper arms OR lower arms may be modified or replaced, but not both. Non-integral longitudinal arms that primarily control fore/aft wheel movement (e.g., trailing arm(s) or link(s) of a multi- link suspension) may not be replaced, changed, or modified.
2. On arm-and-strut (MacPherson/Chapman) suspensions, the lower arms may be modified/replaced OR other methods of camber ad- justment as allowed by Sections 14.8.B, C, or G may be used, but NOT both.
3. On swing or trailing arm suspensions, the main arms may not be modified or replaced, but lateral locating links/arms may be modi- fied or replaced.
4. Front wheel drive (FWD) cars with rear beam axles may use shims between the rear axle and hubs.
5. The replacement arms or mounts must attach to the original stan- dard mounting points. All bushings must meet the requirements of Section 14.8.B. Intermediate mounting points (e.g., shock/spring mounts) may not be moved or relocated on the arm, except as in- cidental to the camber adjustment. The knuckle/bearing housing/ spindle assembly cannot be modified or replaced.
6. Changes in suspension geometry are not allowed except as incidental to the effective arm length change.
Note: Many modern suspension designs known by other names, ac- tually function as double A-arm designs. These include the rear sus- pensions on 1988-on Honda Civic/Integra, Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge Neon, BMW E36, and most “multi-link” and are covered by Section 14.8.H.1.

It's either LCA or Toe Arms not both to stay in STX. So if you have LCA's then you are not allowed per the rules to add adjustable Toe Arms. If you have adjustable Toe Arms then you are not allowed to add LCA's.
