Quick question - How many CS'ers are going to be deciding whether they continue to run the car in Street based on the results of any potential class change?

I'm on the fence until the decision is made. Any changes I make until then will be valid for both STX and CS.

I'm not. My decision was based on saving a few grand and keeping the car comfortable. I don't think more than a couple of us are good enough that it matters much.

And I have a quick question, too:
How can you people that have tried multiple front sway bars stand doing the work? I just replaced my WL with Strano last night and I'm ready to tear somebody apart today. What a horrible job.

I probably will stick to Street. The car is my DD as well and I can't justify the jump to STX yet. STX does look mighty tempting though.

Haha. It's not that bad. I think the most annoying part is the skid plate. The second thing is centering the bar. Third, would be the endlinks.

Okay, ya got me, it sucks. hahaha

Try changing the front bar on a MkVI GTI. You'll think the FR-S is infinitely easier compared to that pig.

You need about 40 different tools and have to drop the subframe to get the bar out. It is a joke and is one of a few reasons I'll not consider VW for my next car purchase.

I am currently more concerned about the pax adjustment of street more so than any individual car movements.

CS vs ST pax is a JOKE

Regardless, however, I like my car and I like my class. Locally we have a healthy competition so I'm not going anywhere.

I'll be staying CS either way. Really don't want to wreck the DD-ability of my car.

I'm not changing to STX. Cost, comfort, ride height. Though I have had thoughts of changing cars. However, I think I'll run one more season in this car in CS just to let the new Miata flesh out.

Also, I keep toying with the idea of trying to find a private loan to get the cash to import one of my dream cars (I have a friend that is an importer), a 99+ RX-7. I'll figure out which one I'm doing after the 2015 season. Then, I'd just buy a cheap ES car to autocross ($7000 for a competitive car that uses 15" tires, cheap route!)

Ugh. Well, I have modified (shortened) stock endlinks and the Strano front bar now. It's clunking constantly. I was so burnt out I left the car on jack stands and drove the truck today. Hopefully it'll be an easy find.

Worst part for me was the collars with the fiddly-small screws.

For the Strano bar, you have to make sure it is perfectly centered as the clearance to the control arms is tight.

Working on the end links is a lot easier if you have a ratcheting box end or 'go through' style socket set so you can use an allen through the ratchet to hold the stud. HF has a cheap set that has worked ok for me so far.
