Thanks for the shout out! If version 1 isn't your thing, I hope to show my version 2 in the next few weeks.

Kinda scary. Sucks for the guy because if you crash a car like that its gonna be all over the internet. Those cars have such a high limit so you really need to know what you're doing, and driving in a pack of them makes things a lot worse for the inexperienced driver.

No doubt. Thats one reason I love my FRS more than my sti. It takes less to pass its limits. My skills couldnt save me if I exceeded the abilities of an sti, but they can in the frs for the mosy part, allowing me to learn so mich more and safely.

This is why I'm such a huge advocate for "driving within your abilities". Doesn't matter if you are driving a lambo or an 86, if you exceed those limits, you're gonna end up like the pic.

Too much idiocy to handle. Idiot freeway driver taking a video of an idiot twisty road driver who crashed his car driving above his limit.

Anyone read the articles on Jalopnik about owning a supercar? Makes me think of that.

I got a ride in an STI on a drive on Highway 9, skyline then 84 to highway 1. The car is really pretty heavy and the AWD feels very different. I love my BRZ driving on 9 better though... way more comfortable as it was only my 2nd time on 9 and skyline. At the meet. i'll ask you guys more on how to improve driving skills and handle steering better on corner... still get those TC light on every now and then when i come out to fast from the turn :P

Agreed about the wrx/sti feeling so heavy of these types of roads. I gotta say though, AWD is great in these roads in the rain or dirt/gravel. I love the feeling of "point and shoot" on slippery surfaces when I had my wrx, feeling the front wheels eagerly pulling you out of trouble as the turbo spools (I picture my dog running on our linoleum kitchen floor when I get home from work )

Make sure those "TC" lights stay flashing (safety first), save the TC off for autox/trackday/controlled environment. I'm sure all the DRIVE folks would love to talk your ear off on driving techniques (including myself ) but all I would say is: seat time, seat time, seat time... then more seat time. As long as you are going out for drives, autox or trackdays, the more "in-tune" you'd feel with the car and know exactly what is going on. Confidence/speed comes from knowing the difference between "hmmm feeling iffy, should take that turn slowly" or "feels great "
