Very interested in the catted header with all the recent EPA statements plus would feel guilty running with no cats on the street.

Ok, so the catted header is deceiving to me, it gains more in some spots and losses some in others, seems to just move the power to different rpms without making much more power

Yeah - the dyno chart for the FT86Speedfactory catted header looks much better. I'm not looking for the chart with the highest number because they are different dynos, different cars, different locations, etc, but I'm looking more at the change in the curve and the FT86SF header seems to work better. I plan on bolting the header on and just driving it without a tune, at least for the foreseeable future. |

venturaII, are you getting the FT86 Catted header or the Hooker header? I agree the FT86 power curve looks better in regards to the torque dip.

Right now, the FT86SF header looks like the better performance deal, despite being more expensive and not offering coatings. It certainly seems to fill in the torque dip much more completely, and seems to be better up top, too. EDIT: not to dirty up this thread with discussion of other brands, but can anyone point me to dyno sheets for any of the other catted header manufacturers, when installed on otherwise stock vehicles? Just wondering if anyone has done this and maybe tuned for it..... on the stock tune it doesn't look that great, but I'm sure that isn't the parts full potential.
Seems like the right cost / quality if the performance is there. |

Yeah, that FR-S is Holley's own. They put an Edelbrock supercharger, Blackheart Hooker UEL headers, front pipe w/ cat and their dual cat back exhaust. I believe the car made 289 WHP
