Exactly. The velocity stack that we added to the inlet increased flow by 20% over what he pictured there. And believe me, that 20% increase shows on the dyno.

We did not see a reason to add a duct. The air in the front bumper is nice and cool and it's where the stock system also breathes from, which is a good thing.

Id like to keep this thread for product development updates from Keith & Airaid - Sales/where to buy questions can be directed toward AJ in the other thread.

Besides those issues, best intake we've seen.

Edit: Also would like branding to be via sticker so it's optional if we prefer an eom look.

Keith, would you happen to have a picture of the plug that is included with the kit?

I am rolling around with the prototype installed now with the "car kazoo" (thanks Keith) deleted, snorkel still in place (for now), and over 200 miles on it.

After having 3750 miles with the stock intake, I spend most of my time in the upper power band....lets face it, thats where the fun is hiding from all of you guys that are still under engine break in. I am very critical, especially when it comes to my cars, and mods that go into them.

There is a noticeable difference in the upper band from behind the wheel.

Thanks for the update. From the passenger seat I could feel the extra pull as well. He will have more power once we remove the stock inlet, but we are trying to test all conditions thoroughly.

Also Psclo's car had higher fuel trims than Mattle's car, and the Airaid system brought them down a couple of points. Meaning his car was running a bit rich and the intake leaned it out a bit, but still well within safe conditions. His preliminary feedback was that his mileage was increasing, which makes sense, but we will put a couple of tanks of gas through it to be sure.
