Hi
Hello all,
Just joined the forum because after a lot of car shopping and debating I finally decided to get a BRZ. With any luck I'll be picking up this Silver Limited this weekend. Doing a fly and drive from NC to Ira Subaru in Danvers MA to pick her up.

Hi guys,
My name is Chris and I joined the forum in June 2012. I ordered my BRZ (Base) in July. Was expecting to be driving it by October but my dealer said it is now expected for January. Since I'm in Canada, we only had 4 colors to choose from. I wish we had GBS, DGM or Aspen White to choose from. So with the 4 available, I figured WRB and SWP (not a huge fan of pearl white) would be the most popular colors and would probably see them everywhere in a couple yrs. My previous 2 cars were black, so that left me with SSM. Some might say it's a boring or safe choice, but at my age (30) it feels somewhat refined and elegant. The more I looked at it, I fell in love with the way the BRZ looks in Silver. It just seems like the perfect mix of black and silver. As for my plans, I'm hoping to keep the car as stock as possible. In my honest opinion, I believe the the FR-S/BRZ/86 will be an instant classic and I think the car is amazingly put together stock. But you never know when the mod bug will hit you. lol |

Hi!
Just wanted to drop by and say hello to this awesome community. I don't have the brz or frs yet but hopefully if life plays it's course I'll be getting one by the end of this year or if any news pops up for the 2nd gen, or brz sti then I'll hold off =). I'm a newbie when it comes to car modifying but I learn quick and from lurking this bored for the past 4 month's, I'm sure this community will gladly help with any of my questions, which I may add will be many so bear with me =). Thanks again! |

I'm new around these parts, although I've been lurking for a few weeks. I just picked up a GBS Limited 6MT from Kerbeck Subaru in Pleasentville,NJ. I got a good deal from them: $500 under MSRP and a fair trade on my 2009 135i. I'm loving the car. If I had my druthers, my car wouldn't have the chrome fender trim or the fuel door sticker, but other than that, it's perfect. I plan to remove the fuel door cover soon, but I'll probably leave the chrome fender trim. It's growing on me.
Planned mods? I'm liking the Nameless axleback exhaust, Enkei RPF1 17x8 gold wheels with better tires, and maybe a 1" Eibach drop. Nothing too extreme, just enough to give it the right sound and stance with increased grip. If some bolt ons and ECU tune can fill in the torque chasm between 3k-4.5k, then I'd consider them as well. No plans for supercharging or turbo, but who knows? They are fun to think about. This is the best BRZ/FRS forum out there. Thanks to everyone who makes it possible. |

New here from Queens NY. I drive a pretty well modified 2012 Mustang 3.7 V6 but after test driving a BRZ, I am considering swapping. It won't be an easy decision as I love my stang and think it's just sexy. Just hope to learn more from everyone here. Hopefully there's a lot of cool people on here, the Mustang community is pretty tight and besides a few it is a pretty awesome group of people.

Hi guys,
I have been lurking on this website since... oh gosh... Feb this year ( ). Time flies. Anyway, I vacillated between the BRZ and the FR-S on many factors (suspension differences, price, interior, front bumper, spoiler) and finally pulled the trigger on a dark gray BRZ LTD Manual last week after a solid search of 3 months for the right car (which in my mind was either a manual Dark Gray BRZ LTD or an Asphalt FR-S). I ended up finding a dark gray LTD Manual in NJ and within a week, negotiated them down from a $2000 markup, arranged financing and insurance, picked up the car, drove to Rutgers (Alma Mater), showed the car to my friends (not really car nuts) who loved the design and the color , and drove back home that night to MI with my gf. Unfortunately, I had to park it and grab a flight for work, so, I didn't really have time to sink in that I had found my dream car after waiting +1 year and debating between BRZ/FR-S/Miata/S2000/E46M3/Cayman (handling being the paramount factor). ![]() So, I got back home today and immediately threw the luggage in the house and grabbed the keys for some TLC. Without further ado, here's my car. ![]() If you are or will happen to be in the South West MI area, just give me a holla. See you at a AutoX soon. |

@Ap0cFCB Really nice looking mods. Very classy and understated especially with a vivid color like Grabber Blue.
