I just want two questions answered by all you rotary lovers spamming reviews and specs:
Would you drive a RX-8 over a BRZ/FR-S? If so then why are you here? |

I believe you and Catguy were the ones that brought up the RX-8. If you don't want to discuss other cars in the versus section either don't post here, or don't bring up cars from the past. |

genesis coupe just drove it
I just took the 2014 Genesis Coupe R/T Ultimate (MT) for a test drive it fails to handle even close to what are twins can do. I will give it credit, it has excellent smooth power in a straight-line, it has power to easily chirp the tires shifting into 3rd gear under maximum acceleration. The drivers seat , while having nice electric adjustments, lacks comfort and support. As much as I love acceleration I can honestly say that our twins are more satisfying to drive. I'll take the Hyundai genesis off my list of cars I'd rather have.

I've driven a Genesis 3.8. The car is nicely appointed, comfortable, and fairly powerful. I see why it is compared to the BRZ / FRS. They are very different cars though. The Genesis didn't have the tight, nimble feel that the twins do though. The Genesis will out accelerate my BRZ, but I'd never be as happy in the Genesis day after day as I am in my BRZ.

why compare these two cars? one is a v6 and the other is a h-4. one is a GT car while the other one is a more focus enthusiast car. the hp aren't even in the same class.

Umm, that's the title of this post & on the Hyundai they themselves make direct comparison to FR-S by name.

So? Nissan compares the FR-S to the Juke. No need to humor every idiotic thing a company's marketing department says. Newsflash, companies lie and cherry pick stats to make themselves look good so they can take your money. |
