If my car gets here, I'll take you out to a Test N Tune...those are the best. If it doesn't arrive in time, we can still go in my tc. I'll keep y'all informed here.
Oh man now I have to do auto-x? Just kidding I've thought about it but never been sure if I would like it.

Where do you go to practice for auto-x, or do you just show up and do your best?

will definitely check this out, thanks!

since neutron and i opted for the BRZ, i have a feeling we'll be getting our cars first

wonder when scion will officially start their ordering system.

I hope they get here soon.

Scion is going to leave it up to the dealer until further notice according to my sources.

Show up and go balls to the wall. Haha, nope. It is actually pretty helpful, and they recommend to take it easy your first time and take an instructor your first go around. There are about 5-6 runs during the day.

I can guarantee once we show up with our new cars, it'll be impossible to keep the instructors away

Chupacabra, it sounds like you run a performance parts store based on your previous posts?

Instructors usually are members of the sanctioning club (Porsche Club of America, MAC, Corvettes of MN) and usually are rewarded with track time, but they are fair about their business. AutoX days usually run 20-30 a day or 40 for TnT's. It's cheaper if you're a member of MAC/ MOWOG. And you'll always need to pay. But it is like an inexpensive education on what limits you can push your car to, while being in a somewhat controlled environment.

I'm an enthusiast who got lucky and was hired by a smaller motorcycle dealership in Shakopee. I am the Web Admin for Sales and Photographer along with Salesman. I started in parts and have a passion for helmets actually.

I also worked for AutoZone part time and one of my best friends is the parts guru at Burnsville Toyota/ Scion.

That was likely their Minnetonka showroom. I worked for Morries in Brooklyn Park for about 6 years and the other dealership always got the cool toys.

Well at least I know I'll get to see a BRZ at the auto show next week. I'd really like the chance to see one at the dealership where I can sit in it and poke around though.

We got ours on order from St. Cloud Subaru. Price won't be marked up at all. Color is Satin White Pearl.

They never said anything about how many they are getting like you guys are stating about the other dealerships....makes me kind of nervous. I did get my "thank you for your order" email from Subaru though.

Did they tell you how many orders they have in ahead of yours?

I agree this is one of the most active regional threads on this forum. Go Minnesota!
