You got anything constructive to say, or now that you are done being poster boy for poor design, are you done?

Anyway, that is all I wanted to address. Unacceptable inlet design. If this is pre production stuff, maybe ok, I'm sure Vortech tooling for their airbox cost a pretty penny, and lesser companies don't have the resources.

Way to misinterpret what I've said. I never once said it was a good or a bad design. I simply said it was wrong to assume it was negatively affecting performance without any evidence. Lay off the maple syrup bud, too much sugar shrinks the brain

I just have a personal affinity for the Rotrex. The CCX is one of my favorite cars.

I think I'd be a bit scared to drive a Koenigsegg on track... but yes, the CCX series Koenigseggs used twin rotrex blowers

Eh I had an dual air temp gauge on my fairly modified WRX which measured pre-IC and post-IC temperatures. I had a cold air intake which ran down into the fender to begin with but moved it to put something else there and just went with a short ram in the engine bay. Made absolutely zero difference in the post-IC air temperatures.

There is no room for facts and quantifiable statistics in this conversation!

Tell that to OEMs or race car engineers.

But what there is plenty of is stupidity on forums.

It may not make a difference in post-intercooler temperatures, but it would certainly make a difference in the working pressure ratio of the compressor. With a belt driven supercharger, you'd make less boost as compressor inlet temperatures increase.

In a turbocharger system, you'll have to work the turbo harder to make your desired boost level. Whether this is an issue or not depends on your system design.
