I just got these wheels (17x8 +45) and I need some tips. I got Muteki super tuner lug nuts, but my mechanic said they were a tad too narrow at the base and the wheels would come loose. Also, he recommended I get hub centric rings. So two questions:
1. Which lug nuts will fit perfectly with these wheels? 2. Which hub centric ring size will fit perfectly with these wheels? Any answers will be greatly appreciated!!! Edit: Hub centric rings are 56.1x73. Still don't know what's up with the lug nuts though! Last edited by CombatFetus; 04-23-2015 at 05:53 PM. |

Thanks for the replies guys I appreciate it. A couple more questions on the hub centric rings, are they even required? I will be doing a couple track days this summer. And will a 73.1 to 56.1 ring fit a 73mm rim?
Edit: 73.1 fit 73 with a hammer to help

So I forgot to update here. But I bought the 17x9 titans in sports bronze and wrapped them in 255/40 continental DW's fit perfect and love the way they sit and look

17x8 +45 with 235/40/17 Toyo Proxes T1 Sport's. Love the set up, better than the 225/45/17 Pilot super sports I was running on 17x7.5's before. Love it, very happy with the purchase.

Needle in a haystack question- will an OZ Alleggerita 17x7.5 +48 fit over the Brembos on a 2017 Performance Pkg BRZ? OEMs are the same size but clearance is about spoke design as well as offset of course. Anyone have insight on that particular wheel? It's a used set I've found...
