So, anyone notice anything when they replaced their pad retaining pins with the new ones?

Not particularly because I finally got around to installing the kit after I received the new pins.

On another note, my calipers are chipped and scuffed because the wheel weights decided they didn't want to clear my calipers anymore. Thankfully, my tires just arrived and I should have the new wheels on early next week.

How do these compare to sprint kit for tracking? How about with increased power with FI?

I really want to keepy 17" wheels with whatever brakes I get, but the car is street driven not a dedicated track car so I don't want something that is going to get ruined with salt splash during winter. I don't drive in active salting but will encounter wet roads from melting snow.

Yeah. I'm confused because while the clearance was very close (literally a hair), I drove the car without problem for roughly 400 miles, then yesterday, my father drove the car for about a 1/4 mile, heard something wrong, and discovered the weights had started to hit the caliper.

I take it you had/have more clearance on the stock wheels or did you not have them on long enough?

I was actually referring to my problem that I saw when changing pins. I have the stockers for winter use, don't recall where the weights are. I will say the weights on the outside of the barrel of my Weds look like they may make contact eventually. They haven't yet, but I am already losing weights on the rear wheels.

@JRitt

Does the front 4-pot set really contain 343mm discs or they are in fact 332mm as AP Racing website tells:

http://www.apracing.com/product_deta...sc_%c3%b8.aspx

?

If so, the rear discs are larger in diameter than the front ones?
