That's a full semester... and a useful degree!
I looked up the Street Touring rules a bit after I posted that; apparently solid bushings as a whole don't work out? |

and even thou materials have gotten better over the years... solid bushings are illegal..they used to be very dangerous.. so they more or less banned them. hence why TIC, SuperPro,whiteline have a stronghold on the US market.. Energy had a BRZ/FRS kit.. but from my understanding they aren't that much stiffer than stock Bill

ECUTEK reflashes have launch control, flat foot shifting, and autoblib, are they legal in STX, or would I have to install the basic map without those features?

I would consider them legal as they are just manipulating RPM, fuel, and ignition timing. Launch control was officially ruled legal previously for ST. I'd turn autoblip off though, the mechanics of it don't seem to work all the time (IMHO) and it can surprise you if you are not expecting it.

Very helpful thread since I'm just about to start up. Seems like a good class for the casual modder to be able to do essentially whatever we want.

Our first Solo event isn't until next month and I was wondering how you guys "felt" the 86 was as far as competitiveness in STX. I apologize that this isn't a very fair question but since you guys have had the chance to run the 86 in that class, what your impressions were.
We have a very fast WRX and a few BMWs in STX is why I'm asking. I did pretty well in C Stock with the FRS in its first time out in December but the rules for what I can and can't upgrade are just a little too strict. Scott |
