A little heads up for those interested:

In about a month, I am planning to sell my STI wheels. These are from the genuine BRZ STI accessories catalog and recently featured in the BRZ tS (albeit in 17" size). To what I am changing to, it will remain a secret for the time being

Wheels are 17"x7.5" et45 and currently cost over $1800 brand new to import from Japan via japanparts.com (cheapest I've found)

I would like to part with these with the tires still mounted, which are the stock Michelin Primacy 215/45/17. For that reason, I would prefer local pick up in SoCal in the OC region.

Wheels have been used for ~5000mi. Those who know me know that I keep everything in as perfect condition as reasonably possible, thus no curb rashes and major scratches (minor nicks have been touched up, these are usually in the lug barrel area during mount and dismount of wheels).

If you will be interested, please send me a PM. I would like to sell these for $1600 OBO with tires. Please see my build thread for images, but I will post pictures as it gets closer to sale.

Inspired by @Nitesh31, I decided to step up to the 18" STi wheels and honestly, there's no going back from an aesthetic standpoint. The longer spokes, coupled with how the wheels fill in the wheel wells makes me wonder why I didn't do this in the first place. Also wrapped them in Michelin PSS 225/40R18. Excited to see how things change on the canyons this weekend.

And on that note, 17s are off the car and ready for purchase to those interested!

Width and offset match the 17s. They're 7.5" and offset of 48.

Hell yeah dude.. Very clean. This is exactly the same direction I am planning to go with my car. Were the wheels completely bolt on without any fitment/suspension adjustments? How low is the drop, and how's the clearance with that lip?

Hey thanks for the compliments! The wheels are designed for the BRZ actually, so they can be bolted on no issues. My car is dropped on STi pink springs, which lowers the car by just over half an inch. I haven't measured the height from ground to lip, but I'd guess I have around 3 inches there. It's actually not really that low with my setup and a good majority of curbs can be taken easily at angles without scraping.

HI,

What's your option for "STi - flexible draw stiffener"?
http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/brz_zc6/ST20118AS000.html

Did you plan to add to your STI setup?

Thanks.

It's something that I'll eventually look into but not something I particularly need. Between the strut tower and door stabilizers I feel my car is at a good balance of stiffness and flexibility. I will let you know if I put them on though
