Has anybody timed the performance increase before and after the header install? 0-60 or maybe a 1/4 mile perhaps?

Curious to see how much of a difference the torque dip (or lack of it) makes.

i dont think the torque dip has much to do with 1/4 mile and 0-60 times. I know when i run full throttle in a straight line i dont spend much time if any that low in the rpms. especially in a 1/4 mile when i launch the car. the dip has a huge affect on things like rolling from a stop or autox where its common to be down between 3k-4500 rpm. just my 2 cents

Well I was actually aiming on the latter. Lets say you're at full stop in front of a red light and you don't launch the car from 4k rpm for instance just floor it at the green light...

One thing for sure though : the dip is bothering me more and more lately

During the winter months when its cold the car has a completely different personality.

Now that spring is here and the temps are 80+F the car feels more and more lethargic.

I'm suddenly remembering why I wanted a header so badly.

I find that now with the header on I no longer have to down shift from 5th to 4th for steep hills while cruising around town around like 37-37mph. On the stock header I'd have to downshift otherwise I'd be lugging the engine trying to get up a hill.

Why not just install them?
