While it may seem premature, consider how many times people have swapped turbos or intercoolers or headers or whatever shortly after acquiring them. It happens.

They probably assumed a 50% increase in stock power was enough.

As I do.

But nothing is ever enough on forums.

99% of people could not handle this car with 300whp. I don't mean bullshit highway runs in your over 9000 turbo kit. I'm talking about actualy hill/track driving.

Have you ever driven a 300whp 86? It's pretty quick, but definitely not more than most could handle. Maybe in the rain in pedal dance mode...

If you need to drive the car with the aids on, then all you've done is validate my point.

Innovate Supercharger Owners Topic

Exactly! Seatbelts are for grandmas and airbags are for soccer moms. Long live the 86, a car for men!

Oh wait..

Seatbelts and airbags are safety devices that are present should a crash occur.

Driving aids exist to prevent such a situation occuring, whilst the vehicle is in control by an operator that is not capable of controlling the vehicle in this type of situation otherwise.

There is a difference.

The car comes factory with traction control, its called the accelerator.

It also has active stability management, the steering wheel and pedals, controlled by the big lump of meat in the drivers seat.

If you think a preprogrammed computer chip is a better judge of a situation panning out in front of you, I say you need more driving lessons.
