So I've been here in San Angelo a little more than a week, I figured I'd share my thoughts: the weather here rocks! It's so much cooler here, there's a nice breeze, we get 92 and 93 octane gas here.

Seems like Visconti is no longer the tuner of choice. Someone give me the cliffs notes please?

Selling my dual color turn signal switch backs for $30 obo. Works great all leds working. It has a tiny bit of glue from manufacturing. I got my new mod so I wouldn't be using this anymore. Let me know I'll be at coffee rush meet today

He's a ****
He used to work for geek squad and knows nothing of cars
He has destroyed a few cars with his tunes and his flex fire kit has burnt one car to the ground

Other than that business is great.

Interesting. Last year he played a role in blacklisting the Airaid intake, but he was the forum favorite at the time. Some guy had bogging issues with the Visconti canned tune with Airaid intake and it all got blamed on the intake.

Interesting isn't it, given the posts of Yruyur and others.

Personally I just felt it was way over priced so I never bought but I can tell you if I did it seems most like Toni and his actions seem to uphold the reputation he has here on the boards.
However I choose to go a different direction and Shiv has been excellent to deal with as well.

My AirRaid has given me no issues at all and I think the product fitment and quality is quite nice esp. considering it was by far cheaper than other options available online.

The airaid is definitely not the best intake. In fact stock is fine with a drop in. Toni from fa20 was telling us that the airaid and injen are a pain in the ass to tune because of the turbulence from the location of the maf. These issues can be tuned out but just more difficult.

Many things are different such as using the bigger MAF off the Newer Vette's on say an earlier F-Body. The difference is the availability of information and the ability to understand and handle the issue. However this issue has been around for YEARS with MAF's of this nature and it has long since not become an issue for anyone who has seen it before. You get the information you need make a first scale and then make fine tune adjustments as every car will respond differently.

The AirRaid is not bad because they went a different route, it was just one that required a different tune approach. None of which means it made the product faulty just that it required the proper adjustments to make the power you would want it to.
However since it is very common in the lower sections of car modifications to just want to bolt something on and go faster. (Not cover all bases and many times not even maintain the vehicle) Its very common for people to think that things seem to not work correctly or not do what they think they should do. Investing in the ability to tune or a tuner who has the kind of experience to handle said issues is normally not the forefront of many customers minds. Quick, simple and cheap is.

Frankly putting on an air intake and doing nothing more is like putting a normal size straw over a coffee straw. You really didn't accomplish much if there is still a restriction else where.

Who in AZ does the best tint... Need the frs and my wife's honda fit tinted,

I don't want cheap... Just care about best quality! any recommendations?

I had mirror tint on one of my Subaru's and it was amazing, not sure if mirror tint is entirely legal out here though.
