Honestly if you actually try it's not that hard. There used to be an easy solution and that was to get a party of 6 and just play rumble and everyone would feed kills to the one person who needed the Thorn bounty. Bungie has since patched the ability to bring a party into rumble because Bungie doesn't like fun, but that's besides the point. My best advice would be to play control and just focus on farming kills and not the actual objective of control. Sure you may lose some games but you'll finish the bounty much quicker.

I generally don't scroll back on this thread so I just read whatever the last page is and didn't see it. If it was then I apologize for re-posting. Reddit was the source I obtained this from as well.

I read on reddit Bungie had commented somewhere to take that with a huge grain of salt, it was not current. I think it was linked to an official Twitter comment... However, by the looks of it compared to TDB, it's probably REALLY close to what will actually be released. Existing weapons and gear loosely reskinned, etc...

Managed to run CE NM last night and wiped a few times at the beginning because we were looking for the chest/screwing off, but aced the rest of it. Man it feels good to finally be able to run through CE and have it be more fun than frustrating. We had mostly 31s with a 32 titan sword carrier.

I have 2 exotic bounties right now. I figure since the HoW is dropping in a little over a month, I'm going to get both bounties to the PvP stage and then wait till the HoW drops before attempting to finish them. It just doesn't make sense to put in all that effort and to level them up only to have them get reset in a few weeks. And I think you're right, Bungie likes to take the fun out of things lately.

That HoW stuff looks pretty spot on. If anything there will be less stuff than that when it goes live, especially all those ships and crucible game modes

Weird there's only 2 exotic guns, maybe that's why they're saying this list is wrong.

I'm no longer concerned with the quantity of new exotics as I am the quality.

In my opinion, Dragon's Breath, No Land Beyond, and Necrochasm are all trash compared to previous exotics.

I can't speak for the other 2, but Dragon's Breath is pretty horrible. I mainly bought it because it looks cool but that's about it. Oh, it leaves a trail of smoke behind you too in case you didn't know.

No Land Beyond, I hear, is garbage. Then of course it makes sense that the best guy in our fireteam just absolutely tears up PVP with it. He says it's his new favorite gun. :/
