I already went today with the GF, started at 2pm. Was waiting for your response to this thread but you didn't respond in time. I'll pm you my number for the future so it will be easier to arrange (im definitely down to do this route again).

As for tomorrow, I'm starting my first day at a new job in oakland... so if there is interest we could probably do this as a night run tomorrow night (i get off 5pm in oakland)

hwy 35 is really straight, slightly windy at the end. Lots of trees, like you are in a forest. Road is average quality.

La Honda has newly paved roads (2 areas with construction), very windy and overall awesome.

That chunk of the pacific coast highway is just that- a highway with clear view of the ocean to your right.

Pascedaro road (sp), early part you have like a 25 limit zone, and a lot of houses, the last half is filled with sweepers, and extremely windy. Road condition is a mixture of hwy 35/la honda

last time we met up and went to the cheesesteak place in CV... not sure I can make it this time though. Those who are planning to go though, definitely post up a meeting spot for the Hayward/CV guys!

oh also, on Saturday Oct 12th I am thinking of doing a recon run in preparation for the big 86Fiesta Oct 19th meet/drive. Those of you who will be there Oct 19th and are also free on Oct 12, it would be great to have you come along if you are interested in a "preview" and also could help out as a group "captain" on the 19th since you will know the route and can lead others who are not familiar with the road. The route will most likely be Mines Rd.

There are two large car meets going on in Newark and Fremont (check 86DRIVE calendar for details) this Sat so I will probably hit up one or both first and then plan to do the drive afterwards... so perhaps around 3-4PM meet up (maybe even plan to meet at one of these events and roll to Livermore together). So post up if you are interested in joining and stay tuned for info. Will be helpful to bring radios to communicate if you have them.

Hey guys, right now I'm not 100% sure I can do this tomorrow. My foot has been hurting and I can barely walk today so I may have to skip the meets and drives tomorrow. It would probably be best if someone who is going to be up for it for sure, to take on setting up the meeting spot and times. Maybe @RC51ed or @BRZkitty can step in here for me.
