I am looking for less understeer this weekend (I believe that's within reach, I've been running a slightly conservative setting as I gain confidence) and rear rates are higher than front (10k/12k)

So many variables. Tires, alignment, general settings, valving, ... I suppose I may change my tune as I continue to get used to the car but...

Your wheels are too wide for STX.

What class would my wheel set up be in? Or is it unrealistic to keep this set up? I'm not looking to be the fastest or anything, just for fun and for track one day!

Did some relearning this past weekend after my recent deployment (10months). Was happy with car. Couldnt figure out why understeer in sweepers oversteer everywhere else. I think it is probably the driver. I am on feals. 7k/6k. -2.5 camber front -2 rear, 0 toe all round.

IIRC tuning suspension for transitions (which is where a heavier front rate likely comes from) will cause a little push in sweepers.

I know I have been the cause of oversteer moments in my car so far, but I'll be tuning a little more in this weekend (weather depending... More rain predicted, I may get good at wet racing this year if it keeps up.) So, while I can't say with much certainty, I'd guess setup is the push, driver is the oversteer.

Now someone gets to show me how I'm wrong

You may want to play with your rake/ride height to fix the sweeper push.

Yah to the rear. will be corrected somehow screwed that up when setting ride height. I blame the beer measurements. getting some time off soon will be corrected. even if it is hurting/helping(though I imagine hurting) the handling i dont like the look just sitting there.

Yupp. At the end of the day it was 10 clicks front and 3 clicks rear. Felt a lot better than the first setting.

Not sure what class you'd be in with those wheels. If you're just trying to have some fun, don't worry about. Find out what class you belong in and have a good time.

That's technically true, but I would ask your class competitors if they're okay with you running what you have for now. Based on the tires you have, I doubt if anyone with a properly equipped car will care.

It was better but still was twitchy and oversteered a bit.. I know my tires aren't that great, but does anyone have any recommendations on how to get the car a bit more neutral?
You basically get dumped into SM. Maybe use the 18x9.5 for street and pick up some 17x9s for autocross?
