Time to step up, Checo!
I say Williams *cough* Mercedes *cough* should snag Wehrlein or Ocon for the vacancy.

Anybody feel like the Singapore race was more ads with the side box live view than dedicated live feed?

Seemed anytime anything good was happening it was always during a commercial meaning no good commentary .

Just another typical race:

Merc 1-2 finish
Kyvat crashes
RBR fucks over Ricciardo

haha seriously though, it was pretty good, especially the charge by nando at the end
Just sad we didn't get to see an on-track battle between Merc and Red Bull that would have otherwise been inevitable

I know RBR has a tradition with Ricciardo, but how about Ferrari releasing Kimi without his wheel bolted on. That's amateur hour BS.

The rest of the season is going to be a waiting game- waiting to see if Rosberg's engine goes kablammo so we have a championship fight again. Barring a Ferrariesque pit stop or a freak accident NOT with Hamilton, this championship is in the bag. Rosberg needs to just drive for the championship at this point and not for wins. Let's see if he can do it. I think he can because he has great 1 lap pace to get up front out of the fray in the mid-pack and he has plenty of engines left so he won't have to take grid penalties for going over his allotment.

So I'm looking at the points difference (26), the number of races left (3) and how points are awarded. 1st place - 25 points; 2nd -18; 3rd - 15; 4th -12; 5th - 10; 6th - 8; 7th - 6; 8th - 4; 9th - 2; 10th - 1.

So if Lewis wins every race,, and Nico finishes 2nd in every race Nico wins by 5 points. For Lewis to win,, Nico needs to finish 3rd two times,,,, or have one really bad race.

Lets hope for the latter!

I'm praying for Rosberg to get punted by Gutierrez (brake failure), while trying to lap him.

I'd love for this to go down to the last lap of the last race, so I'm with alxtheoreo. If the season can come down to Lewis vs. Rosberg, the guy who finishes best wins it all, it may beat the 08 championship decider.

In 08, I couldn't sit down after the rain started falling at the end of the Brazil race. That was the best race I have ever seen. LOL that race is the answer to a bar bet trivia question- which F1 driver was champion for the shortest period of time? The answer is Massa for about 20 seconds....

07 & 08 were my first two seasons watching F1 after catching a few races in 06, probably the best seasons of the last 20 years from what I can tell.

My god, if something were to happen to Rosberg like this, 99% of people would be super pleased, but that 1% of outspoken ****shits who just hate Hamilton out there would be saying that's all rigged, and we'd hear about it for eons.

So I guess I'll stick my neck out (not really) and say Rosberg WDC after finishing second to Hamilton in the race.

Would have been so much better if Hamilton didn't have the engine failure in Malaysia, the final 4 races of the season would have had much more fierce competition instead of Ros just playing it safe.

Yea that's where I'm putting my money too.

Though there's always a chance Verstappen or somebody takes him out lol

Kudos, my friend...you called it closer than you could have imagined at the time. Nonetheless, a very interesting end to a very interesting season.
