$2k from what I remember. Not too bad with a 23k price tag it's an 8.7% price increase, so I guess it depends on how you want to look at it. Also there's no saying that the new performance package won't cost a little more =/

I'm always for improvements! Also, no true enthusiast could completely rule out any car that's got performance written all over it. On to cheap no less!

^ Give me the GenCoupe interior with the Mustang wheel.
But pictures aren't touchy-feely, either.

Dropped off my $500 refundable deposit cheque today.
3.8 GT 6mt in Parabolic Blue. Some cars are in port now and shipping to dealers later this month for early April sales. I don't actually want it until May when I know the snow and salt will be gone, so I'm in no real hurry.

I love the sound of the 3.8. I'd take it over the 2.0t just for this sound alone.
This is the old genesis too. |

Congrats!! What made you decide to go with the GT? I noticed you are in Canada so your trims are a little different. How come you didn't go with the R-Spec or track trim? Just curious. |

I have a 2010 2.0GT now. I think they only sold them in the US one year, but in Canada from 2010-12. Its basically and R-Spec and Premium combined. I really like the car, but its a little slow and I really like the upgraded interior of the 13.
The 13 Premium has all the Tech and the R-Spec the performance, but there is no longer a combination of the two unless you go V6. I guess I'll have to suffer through 348hp to get the fancy options lol. The options packages are pretty odd when comparing the US to Canada. Our R-spec comes with fogs and cruise control, while the US doesnt. Our Premium is also available with the 6mt, but in the US its auto only. I still really, really like the FRS and BRZ after seeing them in person, but the BRZ Limited with the nicer interior will be an easy $30K+ here in Canada. The Genesis isnt as pure/small/light/etc, but the HP and options of the Genesis are more important to me. |
