Reminds me of back-in-the-college-days, my ex roommate and good friend, ask me to help him with an experiment. He was working on his PhD in organic chemistry and claimed he had made some LSD in the chemistry lab and he wanted to test it.
Why me? As he put it, I was the only one he knew who wouldn't take any BS off of him and I was strong enough to control him, if he got out of control. So, we met at another friends mobile home. I had my bottle of whisky and ol Jimbo had his experimental substance. I was about half way through my whisky bottle when Jimbo dropped his "acid". Well, I stayed awake all night watching him ....... sleep ......  I reckon he got his formula wrong because when he awoke the next morning, all refreshed, he said that he didn't have any weird dreams. He later went on to complete his PhD and went on to med school and became a physician. Last I heard from him, he was practicing in California (I wonder if he ever ran across Timothy Leary down there .....??)  humfrz |
