See...not many of us would of thought of that. Because if you open the door and push the button the window goes up the rest of the way. So if the switch is in the "quiet the buzzer position" and someone forgets...splash goes the glass. Maybe.

No, The window does go back up as soon as you close the switch but it doesn't seem to be an issue. Can't really tell any difference in the way it closes.
I don't know what percentage of cars have windows that go up and down every time the door is opened but I do know that cars survived for a lot of years without this feature. The rubber seals are not a bank vault. They don't seal well enough to break the glass when you shut the door.

We'll call that user error. I took the car back to them and they confirmed the header had been craftsmanned correctly. It needs a particular install procedure though.

I'm confused by your comment. Are you thinking this permanently disables the buzzer or the automatic window system? If that is what you're thinking it doesn't. The switch is just for those times when you want the door open for whatever reason and don't want to listen to the door buzzer. Until you manually hit the switch everything operates just as it did from the factory. The rubber bumper you add to the door even shuts off the switch when you close the door so it's back to normal the next time you open the door.

Hmmm...I'm wonder how particular their items are that it wasn't sealing up. We talking re-torque after an initial heat cycle? I mean most bolts have a torque pattern to ensure proper seating/sealing, but were talking 3 bolts? right? Per side....

[QUOTE=redsuns03;1191421]This is a mod that would be great before HIN for me. Lol.[/QUOTE

If you don't have time to do the mod before HIN you could pull open the panel behind the door switch and just unplug the wire off of the switch. The switch is normally closed. It opens to shut off the light when you close the door. Unplugging the wire would keep it from chimming during the show with your door open. Would take you two minutes at the show.

Well I used it and then Ninjin used it...it's becoming common. I will then write to Merriam-Webster and ask for an inclusion!

Initial installation should be torqued in a particular pattern, then re-torqued after the header gets nice and hot.

Apparently its a Subaru thing.

Figures...It would've been fine if it were a "Toyota" thing!

So I spotted two frs's and one brz at chandler fashion mall parking lot today! Awesomeness! I ordered my full exhaust and pulley and intake from vivid! Should be in tomorrow and install hopefully Monday! Ordered all their own parts and have black exhaust tips. Think that will look good with a color matched rocket bunny kit with the wing and wheels? And why can't we upload pics from the app anymore?!?

I've been using the imgur app to upload pics, then posting them in Tapatalk using their link. Kind of a shitty workaround but it gets rid of dual-pics when attached, and the imgur pics are likely higher quality.
