Go by what the Dealer says, your tracking is a little behind Toyota Official tracking .. mine now says to me at latest 7 Feb but that can come forward but I will still work to that date, anyhting earlier will be a bonus, just gonna store it in the garage and polish it!

haha, in ONE year my Corolla Sportivo did 900km!!! Me bad!

Just checked and my car is now in transit to Australia!
I'm so freaking excited!

Will be calling my dealer to see what his reports are, and a date of when it will arrive/when I can pick it up. Fingers are still crossed for before Christmas!

Ordered from Yarra Valley Lilydale.

Edit: Just called my dealer, and he said that the ship my car is on will be docking on the 19th, which means I'm going to miss the window in getting it before the Christmas break.
Oh well, only an extra fortnight or so. Nothing compared to the six months of waiting already.

So true!! After the long wait not knowing what the hell is going on, the single coloured Rubic's Cube that I finally solved, at least you know it's almost here!! I found the constant uncertainty of just getting pushed out month by month the worst and if I had not located the GTS my original order would be just that, pushed out month after month!!

16 days and mine comes off the production line!!

I did a 'google' map search for Gunma where FHI factory is, north west of Tokyo and approximately 150km from there to Yokohama where I THINK the cars are loaded onto the ship for their trip downunder

Assume then they are loaded onto road transport for that trip unless they have a railhead and go that way!

If anyone has any knowledge, I'd love to know

thats what i thought to, factory is in gunma so closest dock would be yoko. i wonder if when it gets off the production line whether it gets shipped straight to the docks or is there a few days before it moves out to the docks?

i went crazy today and actually calculated the approx distance the oregon highway vessel is from japan since it left 4 days ago based on its speed and distance traveled per day. its close approaching PNG i estimated. another 7-8 days til it hits townsville.

COMN BOAT ROW FASTER!!

Be just your luck the Captain wants to go sight-seeing around the Barrier Reef!!

Yeah, looking at where Gunma is in relation to Yokohama it would just be interesting to know whether they are 'roaded' or go by train

As a kid I would see trains heading from Melbourne to Sydney loaded with Holdens and also VW's! That was a damn long time ago!

PS: Saw my first BLUE 86 yesterday and it really stood out! Come to think of it, whilst I was positive it had a Toyota badge on the rear, the rego plate started 'BRZ'
