Car chirps all day and all night long.

Car is 2.5 weeks old... 950 miles.

I don't remember exactly when it started... but I think it's been doing it from the beginning.

I fill up at costco/arco/chevron, always 91.

The chirping seems to have gone away after getting the oil changed at the 7,500 mile service. I haven't heard mine make the noise since Friday when I had it done.

2000km+ , chirping since putting american 93 v-power gaz, never noticed it before... But now it's very obvious... Usualy, I put canadian 94 Petro-Canada or 91 V-Power and never heard anything... I have been aware of this problem and actively listening and never had the issue until I filled up at Shell in Burlington. Once it's empty, I'll fill it back with PetroCan 94 and see if it's still there.

Here in New Mexico, all that is offered is the 10% ethanol 91 oct, Chirping is loud at idle people actually sit there and wonder if my new car is going to transform into a Mighty Decepticon Cricket.

Noticed it around 700 miles, cant say for sure when it started. I really only hear it if I'm outside of the car so I would like to not worry about it, but knowing its there pisses me off.
19XX vin, been sticking with 93 oct. Apparently its illegal for gas stations to advertise no ethanol so struggling on finding the right ones.

Mine's gotten really random now that I'm up around 3000 miles. Generally, but not always, it dies down at idle when I come to a stop, and is barely noticeable. The strange part is that while before it was noticeable at idle but seemed to fade once underway, now it seems to be quiet at idle but kick back in as soon as I apply some throttle to pull away from being stopped. Very, very weird. I've run nothing but Shell 93, with all but a few fill-ups on long trips coming from the same local station.

Requirements on publishing ethanol content vary by state. Here in OH, there is no such requirement unfortunately.

I just got my car a few weeks back and heard the chirping noise at idle. From cold start, it took a while (about 7 mins) to hear the chirping...don't even need to take the car out. Once the chirping starts and you restart the car, it comes back up pretty quickly, especially when my RPM's started to drop to about 500.

Sent a video of it to my dealer...hope they come back with something constructive.

2500 miles, no chirping. Lots of gas from several states.

Car had 5 miles on it leaving the dealer lot. Bought it out of state so when I got home it had close to 200, and had the chirping . It doesn't chirp on initial warmup but when it's warm it's always there.

Its the high pressure fuel pump. Switching to ethanol free gas made the chirping go away for me.
